This is some rather unusual place we have visited with Buddy and his foster brother Oliver. Instead of going to one of the many Protaras' pubs, bars, restaurants and cafes we chose this periptero because of the inside knowledge – the place is famous for its tasty sandwiches at very low prices!
It is located right next to the beautiful Profitis Ilias church (right before the stairs) and therefore skipped by many tourists that concentrate only at enjoying the beaches and popular Protaras avenue. That still doesn't stop this simple kiosk to be a hit amongst the locals and it has been opened and working for many years now. You might even find it difficult to find a place to sit down and would have to wait in a queue to place your order during busy summer days.
The settings of the kiosk are as you would expect from the ordinary periptero, just with more tables to sit down. It is however located in the beautiful surroundings with a picturesque view to the church at the top of the hill.
It would make quite a walk if you plan to take your dog for a stroll in Protaras avenue and later have a snack at this place. Otherwise, you might consider coming there with a car.
