Do you know which other area is catching up with dog-friendliness to Ledras and Onasagorou in Nicosia? Protaras seaside! Even though dogs are not allowed on Pernera – Protaras pedestrian path, there are more and more furry friends joining their owners while relaxing by the beach despite all the restraints. And hopefully this will be a good incentive for the local municipality to demolish those “dogs not allowed” signs as there is really no reason for it.
Bikini Beach Bar is everything that you can imagine – great views, relaxing atmosphere and typical Protaras tourist type food and service. The menu offers a great variety of meals for everyone’s taste and the service is a mixture of Cypriot hospitality and season-peak mess.
The reviews on internet are quite mixed, but when we visited the place we felt very welcome and faced no issues for bringing the dog with us. Of course, it was still early in the season, but it’s still a positive sign. Buddy could enjoy laying on artificial grass (his favorite) while we indulged in the desserts and fantastic views. There are plenty of comfortable seats with enough room in between so that your dog can find a place to lay down comfortably.
Definitely a great spot for a relaxing day with your dog by the sea side.
